Auden's Col Expedition

On reaching Gangotri, you can view the road making a perfect travel route for Nala Camp. The beautiful Nala Camp is about 8 kilometers away descending along the path. Best Time to Visit

The best time to venture out to Auden Col Trek is in summers or late monsoon months. If you are planning for a trip during summer, you can go in the months of May or June. If you are targeting the trek after the monsoon, you can venture for the months of September and October. The climate of Auden Col Trek stays salubrious and satisfying during summers (May -June). Itinerary Details

Land at Haridwar by the morning Shatabdi. If you are not comfortable with railways, it is up to you. On the other hand, you can fly into the Jolly Grant Airport by 12 early afternoons. Step up into the commuter vehicles for reaching the Kuflon Basics in the Assi Ganga valley. This takes around 7 hours. You will have a sumptuous breakfast on the way.

Enjoying a tasty breakfast, look around for a peaceful nature. Afterall breakfast is an important meal for an exciting day. we withdrew from Kuflon for a 4 hr drive to Gangotri. This community is based on the sanctuary of the goddess Ganga, and the amazing fall of the Bhagirathi at Gauri Kund. Gangotri is the glacier that gives rise to the Ganga. The Ganga is the highly regarded river across India. It appears in Indian mythology and is crucial to the start of the Indian civilization. It is mentioned along with all the religious scriptures and many more places. It is a dream of every Indian to witness the mother which nourishes the soil. The aarti service at the Gangotri is an absolute necessity to see. Rest comfortably in the rest house at Gangotri and rejuvenate your body for an exciting trail ahead.

Enjoy a plentiful dinner. The food is tasty and healthy. The mountain air is fresh and pure. Absorb your body and mind in all the beauties around you. Stroll on the path prompting the pool of Kedartal. The path experiences birch woodlands and is steep right to the little campground at Bhoj Kharak (12,400 feet). Back to Gangotri late evening. You will be provided with accommodation overnight. Revive yourself for the next day. This day was very hectic and the upward and downward journey was energy draining. You are all head to heels with the toughness of the path. But you conquered it all through the day. You are a winner and an adventurous person. You are set on a journey of rediscovering yourself.

Munch up your energizing breakfast. Get ready for a journey towards Bhagirathi. The next destination is Rudragaira Nalla. Thinking back, we get delightful perspectives on Chirbas Parbat, Matri, Yogeshwar, and the other snow-topped mountains. The trip is a continuous tough through the timberlands of birch and maple. Get your mind and body together. You need to concentrate all your strength on the trek. You need to be strong-minded and push yourself beyond your boundaries.

The Rudugaira Base Camp awaits your arrival. The pathway is very exciting with glaciers and sceneries. Push yourself and continue stepping forward in the beautiful and pristine icy trails.

A day to unwind and adapt, read, unwind, or go for a short stroll close to camp, or attempt and recognize some natural life. Rest comfortably and revive your energies for the next day.

We leave early today, to make the move to the Col simpler on the former morning day off. Feed your eyes and soul with beautiful and charismatic views of the Khatling Glacier, the Kedarnath, and Gangotri.

Today is an exceptionally difficult day. We will be roped up at first for the general well being of the gathering. This is the most difficult ice trail in the journey. The path is difficult. Today we explore the Bhilangana stream which is a tributary of the Bhagirathi. We keep on outdoors on the genuine right of the waterway close to a characteristic cavern.

During a difficult day's walk, we gradually slip to pine woods and go past the town of Reeh to complete the trek at the roadhead, 4kms upstream of Ghuttu. The street has come very near the town of Reeh. Rest comfortably in Ghuttu.

Have a casual beginning, get together, drive from Ghuttu to Haridwar and board the night Shatabdi to be back in Delhi by 10:45 pm. Here you have the option to have a nice scenic day at Haridwar. You can go around the places you would like to visit. Haridwar has a plentiful of tourist places in sync. This is the official end of the excursion. But this beautiful trip and crossing your boundaries to trek one of the toughest treks in the Himalayas will leave in your memories forever.

How To Reach

We can arrange a cab for you from the pickup point in Dehradun, you will be liable to pay for this. All the trekkers joining the trek can share the cab cost. For communications purposes, we will create a Whatsapp Group before the departure date of the trek and will share the details regarding the transportation. The drop at Dehradun after the trek will be arranged in a similar way.

How to reach Auden's Col Base Camp (Gangotri) :
By Air
Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest airport to Dehradun and is easily accessible, it is just 25 km away from the city. Daily flights from New Delhi are available to this airport. You will have to take a bus or a cab to reach Gangotri.

By Train
Dehradun railway station. Overnight trains that hail from Delhi are Nandadevi Express and Dehradun Express. People often prefer railways over airways because with trains you get to see the landscape in its full glory, it is also cheaper and you will definitely enjoy your way till Dehradun. You will have to take a bus or a cab to reach Gangotri.

By Road
Regular bus service is available from Delhi ISBT Kashmere Gate which plies government buses that are safe and you can rely on them more than the private buses. You will have to take a bus or a cab to reach Gangotri.
