This trek is named after the uncommon Himalayan trout which is known as Dodi in the neighborhood language. You will begin your Dodital trek from Haridwar and afterward to Uttarkashi. Best Time to Visit
The best time to go on a Dodital-Darwa trek is April to June and then back from September to November. However, unquestionably, not during the Monsoon. There were floods and landslides during that time. Rainstorms start around July and therefore it's better to avoid that time for trekking.

Itinerary Details
Report to the base camp as early as
possible. The starting point is a 45 min drive from Uttarkashi, to a spot called
Sangamchatti, lying next to the Assi Ganga River. The ascent is quite steep. You can
see the Dayara Bugyal (12,300ft) and Bakra Top out yonder covered in a day off.
During the evening, a few activities will be arranged in order to increase the
interaction between the trekkers. Trekking is a team activity and in order to reach
the summit, it is very important to climb together. You will certainly light up in
the hues of the place, welcoming strangers to become a part of your life. Dinner
will be served at night. Overnight stay will be set up at Uttarkashi. This will mark
the end of the first day of the trek.
This will be the second day of the trek
where we will trek from Sangamchatti to Bebra. Delve into a luscious breakfast and
rigging up for the exciting path ahead. Babble starting steep ascent that will take
you to Agoda settlement and imprint the start of the Dodital trekking and Darwa
Pass. Post that, you will encounter a slow path to Bhebra that is spotted by some
tea shacks and hotels.
Set up your shelter at the winsome campground over the creek. From here on, be set
up for the day off. Dinner will be served and activities will be organized. After
that, we will sleep in tents.
This will be one of the most important days
on the whole trek. We will trek to Bebra to Dodital. After having morning breakfast,
we will emulate a path that goes up consistently from Bhebra through blend
timberland high over the Asi Ganga before entering a side valley prompting
Dodital.
Only 5 km away at Majhi, you will observe a Gujar settlement. From that point, you
clear a path through rhododendron, oak, pine, and bamboo woodland. At this segment,
expect a ton of snow that joins a few difficulties and fervor. By late evening, show
up at the quiet lake. Set camp next to it and take in the excellence that
proliferates.
Dinner will be served at night and overnight tents will be set up.
This will be the D-Day of this trek. On this
day we will trek from Dodital to Darwa top and then return back.
We need to start ahead of schedule to rise the summit that would require some
vitality. The underlying piece of the trek is a magnificent one as you clear a path
through glades bounded with rhododendron trees. Finally, you will have a walk on a
precarious and long path. The upset to the top is compensating with shocking sights.

Once back at the camp, taste on steaming hot masala tea and some fresh pakoras.
Overnight stay will be set up in tents.
This will be the penultimate day on this
trek. We will retreat back to where we had started i.e. Sangamchatti and then to
Uttarkashi. The distance from Dodital to Sangamchatti is around 22 kilometers. The
distance is so large that we need to start off as early as possible. Make sure that
you are sure-footed in this region as there is a high probability of twisting your
ankles.
Roam around a bit. Explore the local culture and cuisine will the strangers turned
friends. Dinner will be served and after refreshing the memories, we will go to
sleep for the last time on this trek.
This will be the last day on this beautiful trek to Dodital-Darwa Pass. We will return back to Dehradun. On your drive back to Dehradun, refresh the memories of this wonderful 6-day trek along with the Trekmunk family. Once you reach Haridwar, you will be on our own. You can plan your further journey. There are a lot of places you can visit if you wanna stay back for a day or two.
How To Reach
We can arrange a cab for you from the pickup point in Dehradun, the charges for the same are not included in the package. The cost of the cab can be shared among the trekkers joining the trek. For communications purposes, we will create a Whatsapp Group before the departure date of the trek and will share the details regarding the transportation. The drop at Dehradun after the trek will be arranged in a similar way.
How to reach Dodital Darwa Pass Trek Base Camp - Uttarkashi
The trek starts from the base at Uttarkashi. It is around 250 km from Dehradun. You can reach
Dehradun in the following ways:
By Air
The nearest airport to reach Raithal is the Jolly Grant Airport of Dehradun, which is well
connected to all major cities of India. There is a decent frequency of flights to Dehradun
from around the country.
By Train
The nearest railhead to reach the base camp is Dehradun. The station is fairly well connected
to all the major cities but might not be the best choice to reach Dehradun. Accordingly, if
you're travelling from Delhi, try to book your seat in Mussoorie Express or Nanda Devi
Express to reach Dehradun. If you're travelling from any other part of India, then it is
advisable to take a train or flight to Delhi first, and then travel by either of the
aforementioned trains to Dehradun.
By Bus
To reach Raithal through a bus, take a train or a flight to Delhi first. From Delhi, you can
easily find frequent bus services for Dehradun from either ISBT Kashmiri Gate or Majnu Ka
Tila. Although you can book the bus on the spot, it is advisable to book your bus in advance,
to avoid any delays. Once you reach Dehradun, you can take a cab to reach the base.
